Chapter V of the ongoing visual arc
Thicker Than Your Armour is about being unreachable — not through anger, through certainty. Every attack stops short: a blade an inch from the eye, guard dogs frozen mid-lunge, a chain grazing skin that never breaks. Nothing gets close enough to matter.
Shot solo in front of a green screen, same method as Green Flags and Crash — this time carried almost entirely by AI compositing.
Approach: Firefly and Nano Banana for stills, Kling for animation, finished in Premiere Pro. One director. Full creative control.
Concept &
Creative Direction
Concept pillars:
· Threat as freeze-frame — every attack stops the same inch short, never completing
· A blade, bared teeth, a chain — three ways of getting close, none of them landing
· Analog film grain throughout — same visual language as Green Flags and Crash
Execution
The entire video was produced using:
· Sony Alpha 7III
· Greenscreen
· AI environments: Runway/Firefly + Pika
· AI-assisted compositing for practical/injury effects
· Adobe Premiere Pro for compositing and finishing
